What's PCTG?

PCTG is friendlier than PETG for most users. It absorbs less moisture giving you more prints before drying is needed.

PCTG is a copolyester in the same family as PETG, engineered for higher toughness and stability.

Think “PETG feel” with more durability and heat performance, making it a go-to for functional prototypes, end-use brackets, enclosures, RC components, tooling aids, and shop fixtures.

Print Settings

Nozzle & Bed

Nozzle: 240–260 °C
Bed: 75–90 °C (PEI, smooth or textured; light glue stick if needed)

For most printers, a generic PETG profile will get you started. Raise or lower temps 5-10 degrees for your specific printer and parts.

Speed & Cooling

Chamber heat: Not required
Fan: 0–40% (lower fan = stronger layers & better clarity)
Speed: 50–300 mm/s (slow outer walls for best finish)

Storage and Drying

Drying (if needed): 65 °C for 3–6 hrs

Storage: Sealed container with desiccant

PCTG absorbs moisture slower than PETG, but should remain in a sealed container when not in use.
